Aaaaand our fridge just exploded in a cascade of half-melted ice. I don't know what happened. I opened the freezer door to get the ice cream and a waterfall fell out, that's all I know.

I have to say, I really admire 2008's dedication to sucking, all the way up to the very last second.

I know that feeling, but I still just about lost it when my paycheck was missing a digit. And then, I found out it was all my fault, which made me feel angry. At myself. Even though 2008 has been sending me through the ringer. It really made me re-think the concept of Emergency Fund, because we've spent like 8k on stuff over the last month and a half.

Of course, no deaths/hurricanes/burglaries, but I want my 8k back. I kinda feel like the credit cards I was planning to pay off in December felt some sort of survival reflex!
