Aaaaand our fridge just exploded in a cascade of half-melted ice. I don't know what happened. I opened the freezer door to get the ice cream and a waterfall fell out, that's all I know.

I have to say, I really admire 2008's dedication to sucking, all the way up to the very last second.

I tried to show my mom that picture, because I'm trying to introduce her to the wonder that is lolcats, and she just didn't get it. It's a generational thing, I guess?

I showed my mum Justin Gingerbread yesterday, and whereas I almost choked with laughter, she didn't laugh at all. So I won't even try to so her the lolcats. :-/

My mom's nearly sixty and she loves LOLcats.

She also calls them "laugh out loud cats" rather than the much hipper "loll cats", but I consider it a victory that I can show her the "well mtv, dis mah crib, dis where da magic happun" squirrel and have her fall over giggling.
