Aaaaand our fridge just exploded in a cascade of half-melted ice. I don't know what happened. I opened the freezer door to get the ice cream and a waterfall fell out, that's all I know.

I have to say, I really admire 2008's dedication to sucking, all the way up to the very last second.

My last laptop was a lemon. I think I had at least half a dozen new motherboards put in the thing before I just told them, flat out. I want a new computer, no excuses, just do it. I hate things that don't work like they are meant to. You spend a small fortune on something, it should work. Sadly, the people who sell those products don't seem to agree. I'm sure your mother will make her feelings on the issue clear.

Ha. I can never decide if I think my mom and Cleo's mom should meet or not. On one hand, I think they'd get along rather well, as my mother has reduced grown men to tears in the face of their own incompetence before. On the other hand, I'm not sure the world could take it.
