For those of you who enjoyed Van Helsing in Fifteen Minutes, I bring you: icons!

Bonus! A few older icons, including the ones I use:

Want/take/have--but please, no hotlinking. And please, feel free to make your own icons, because I'm not that great with text. Most of my pictures come from here, here, and here.

I was on the phone while reading your recap of Van Helsing, and I actually had to hang up on my friend because I was laughing too hard to talk.

The wierd thing about your re-cap is that it makes me want to go and see it now....... Anything that mockworthy has *got* to be worth a go....

To quote [livejournal.com profile] despotliz - "I'm only here for the bitching".....

Brilliant icons. I especially like "ballet", "like killing things", "pixels", and "the sexy", and have long liked the "hairdryer of doom". I must take one, if that's alright, but I don't know which.... and I haven't even seen the film! Am tempted to go see it just so I can laugh all the way through it, with your genius parody faithful retelling of the movie in my mind.

Awesome!

The FUNNIEST parody I have ever read! I really liked the movie - for what it was - fun...But the parody had me crying.

Okay - so I have borrowed icons 1,9, and 11 :-) Credit given to you...

It really is an adorable picture of him. :) He was really cute in the movie, so go see it at a dollar show or something with some friends. And hey! Maybe you'll get an empty theater and you can snark at will.

Ooo, I like your icon.

Here's what I did before I bought more icon space: I uploaded one, keyworded it "vanhelsing," and then deleted/uploaded a new one with the same keyword name whenever I wanted a change. You can always try that. And take as many as you like. :)

Those are amazing. As I have been ranting practically nonstop, Kate Beckinsale looks nothing like a gypsy. At all. Not even a little bit. She has brown hair and that's it. Somehow I sincerely doubt that gypsies in the 1800's wore leather corsets. And there's the "not looking anything like a gypsy" factor.

Aw man you made a DEAD *IS NEVER SEEN AGAIN* icon. That's my favorite joke of all. Ha!

Just letting you know, I'm getting the Frankenstein's monster ones. And what font did you use on them, may I ask? I think I've seen it before on other stuff and can't figure out what it is.

The font on all the new ones is Silkscreen. It's great for small text. You can probably get it at 1001fonts.com or fontface.com.

I took a couple icons. I loved your summary of the movie...I haven't even seen it, but I still laughed my ass off.

Hi! I borrowed the music icon, mainly as I was cracking up laughing everytime it showed up. ^_^ I will credit you, of course.

Thanks for writing that! As bad as the movie was, it was fun to comment on it (mildly quietly as the music was freaking loud).

Not a matte painting...

Interestingly enough, the "My god, it's a matte painting!" icon was actually a full size set. They built the entire village as well in Prague. Not that it matters really...

Oh, I know--my second cousin was the set decorator. I just had that image from the trailer, and it looks so flat in the picture that I thought I'd go for the joke.
