Yeah. I think the biggest issue on that front was RDR's defense that giving permission to use something on a non-profit website meant you had given up ALL RIGHTS TO STOP ANYONE FROM DOING ANYTHING WITH IT ANYWHERE. If they had won on that claim, studios--I'm really thinking of Fox and Viacom here--would C&D every fansite they could lay hands on within the week.
