I'm in comics fandom, and I know a ton of people (I am one of them, in fact) who've been spoiled by someone referencing that one line of Ozymandias' in a throwaway fashion. I didn't even get it at the time, but then later I was reading the book and suddenly realized exactly what that line was referencing and, yeah. Not fun.

omg, there's a 20th anniversary version of it out that's recolored and it's heavy as a doorstop but it's gorgeous. I'd actually never read it before I got hold of that version, I'd just vaguely heard about the story, and even though I knew how it ended, it was amazing.
