Rainy Wednesday

Not the best day I've ever had; not the worst, either. I seem to be cycling through moodswings at an astonishing rate--well, "cycling" implies a set pattern, and I don't know that there is one. And they're not terribly strong swings, either. All I know is, I spent a lot of the day feeling very sad, and then all of a sudden I'd be smiling to myself about something. Other than the sadness, which is really frickin' annoying in terms of trying to get anything done, the moods themselves are fairly mild; I don't feel manic or anything. I have a med check next week, though, and I'll be mentioning them then.

Also, it thundered all day long, despite the sun, and now it's finally pouring down.

I cannot wait for the "Avatar: The Last Airbender" movie. Grr on James Cameron for messing with the title!

A Parasite that Induces Love in its Host.

Yeah, I went out with her in grad school.

Nothing I've read about the Terminator Salvation film gives me hope. (Disclaimer: I like Bale, but every time I see the name "McG" I just roll my eyes.) If the script unfolds the way they've hinted, it's a franchise-killer; nuking the fridge, as it were.

And I'd gladly pass on an Iron Man sequel as long as there was a Tony Stark film. Just film Downey being Stark for two hours and I'm there.

Whoa. I was just at the supermarket, and I saw a tabloid with the headline "PAUL NEWMAN DYING," and I was all, "Ha ha, I'm sure I would have heard about that if it were true."

Somehow I'm not too surprised they're turning escape into a movie. The book was good, but I don't know how it will transform into a movie.

This quote made me lol though "...Warren Jeffs (the man who so idiotically thinks that the more wives you have, the closer you get to heaven). "

I've kind of been having that, too. I thought at first it was hormones; then I just remembered I hate my job.

Cilian Murphy is just jealous.

Man... why M. Night for the Avatar movie? Surely there are directors out there who won't be obsessed with sticking themselves in the movie and saving the day, or coming up with some sort of convoluted twist that's pretty darn obvious early on... Sixth Sense was good. But the others since then haven't been, and I really don't want him near Avatar.

What's most frightening about the wasp is how many people are going to think that's a good idea and try to make it happen.

Bezos is... an idiot. If your hand starts to hurt when you're reading a book, you shift positions. Or take a break.

I'll be honest: The more I see of the Duchess, the more I can't wait for it to come out.

And the Joe Wright/Rosamund Pike split? I guess I saw it ending, but I didn't see it ending quite that way.

While I hope your mood stabilizes soon, I have to say that I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling inexplicably sad.

I'm tempted to blame it on the weird weather we've had in Alabama the past couple of years, since the kind of sadness I'm currently experiencing feels a lot like the kind of sadness I usually experience in late autumn. Perhaps the weather staying incredibly warm right up until last Christmas somehow delayed my seasonal mood swing, or something.

That Public Enemies movie is going to be so good. I saw them filming loads of it here in my home town. We were fortunate enough to meet him (twice) and to get some good shots of different scenes and sets.

Blah. I hate seeing the Marvel slate, because that's all I frigging stared at for 6 months.

That and I had to read EVERY single issue of Captain America and summarize it. Life of intern doth suck muchly.

They actually filmed that Friday the 13th scene in my hometown. Just outside the place where my sister works, in fact. She got a bunch of pictures of Jared Padalecki riding through on a motorcycle. Sadly, I have no interest in either horror movies or Jared Padalecki, otherwise I would have been down there cheering my little fangirl heart out.

Hey Cleo!

Could you just make mention and ask people to keep Iowa in their thoughts? All of my city's downtown is now underwater. Any donations to the Red Cross would be much appreciated. You can read all about our town at a local news station: KCRG (http://www.kcrg.com/) and the local newspaper: The Gazette (http://www.gazetteonline.com/"). We took pictures last night of the flooding. But by now, 3 bridges are completely covered with water, and one railroad bridge is out.

Thanks a bunch!

Unicorns? Mind control? Man, I love being alive.

And also, HAND FATIGUE and LOUD PAGE TURNING?!?! *dies inside*

Is it lame that I got a little disappointed when I realised that I misread 'Harry' for 'Hermione' in your link to the Harry and Ginny hugging picture? Hehe.
