Ugh, I think I'm coming down with a chest cold. Well, I say "think," but I'm already coughing up gunk, so... I'd say it's a pretty done deal. At least that's an explanation for why I feel so tired and draggy, because "seasonal end-of-winter can't-take-sunlight-deprivation-anymore depression" was not a thrilling prospect.

So, nothing much for tonight, except that there is an update at projectdownload: "So, for an update. I have my final appointment with the surgeon on the 29th and while that sucks, I'm on a 'wait' list if anyone cancels before then. Either way, we're moving forward and I can't tell you how happy (and terrified) that makes me."

Oh, God, I hope it's just a cold. This year's flu has been through like a wildfire of agony -- very little stomach action, heavy chest congestion and nasty fever, though. Here's hoping you dodge that viral bullet.

I don't know WHAT it is about this winter. It's been incredibly short even for Alabama...I mean, we were all complaining about not being able to get into the Christmas spirit because it was seventy effin' degrees outside. And yet, somehow, it's taken WAY more of a toll on me than any other winter I can remember. Gah.

Be careful! I know of several people who have acute bronchitis - it, along with that strange flu strain, are going through the 'ham. And bronchitis can end up as pneumonia and no one wants that.

Oh God--I've already developed an irrational fear that I'm going to die at 29 JUST LIKE HEATH LEDGER even though I'm not a talented young actor on five kinds of sleeping pills, and now I might get pneumonia JUST LIKE HIM.

I got hit by acute bronchitis this past November, right around Thanksgiving. It sucks to be sick around the holidays, or any day for that matter. I hope the cold doesn't progress into anything more than just a cold.
