Just for you guys and not at all my need to show off my dogs: pictures of the puppies. Photographer: The Lovely Emily. Location: Our front hall and front yard. I mention it in the descriptions, but I'll say it again: we think that Scout has some labrador because he loves to splash around in his water bowl and the top two steps of the pool, in addition to the shape of his face. Valkyrie suggested that Shelby might have some Australian shepherd due to the coloring of her legs, and other people we've talked to agree that it's probably an Australian something--possibly a hunter, as she's started going into full-on points without ever having seen another dog do it before. This blows my mind, by the way. They're both from the same litter, and the mother was a yellow/blonde terrier; we have no idea what the father (fathers? Apparently this is rare but possible?) is. Bonus: finally, some decent pictures of Sam in all his pre-shave woollitude.

PS, Scout is shaped just like my dog Ben (http://new.photos.yahoo.com/wolf_princess_morgan/album/576460762348068994/photo/294928803725095136/2) when he was a puppy. Not that this is any indication with mutts, but Ben's face later changed color entirely, and he developed this totally awesome fringe on his tail. We think he's reminiscent of an Otterhound (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otterhound) and a Spinone Italiano (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spinone_Italiano). Just throwin' it out there.

Question about DMC soundtrack: Is it worth buying on its own or should I just get a few tracks off itunes? I have CotBP and would rather just add a few new tracks rather than have a cd full of very similar themes.

I'd have to listen to it again, but they're actually pretty different, mainly because it's sadder (or, in the case of "Multiple Jacks," weirder). "One Day" is my favorite, though.

Oh, you might know this: which track on DMC or AWE soundtracks is the music that plays when Beckett is on-screen? In DMC it played during the scenes in his office and AWE during the scenes in his cabin.

It's all about the ears, and while they are all cutely cocked and/or perked by all canines present, Shelby's spooked-ears in the first picture pwn all else.

Close second to ears is tails. *coos over Scout's* Soooo whippy! It's gunna sweep everything off low-lying tables when he gets bigger, yes it will! Eeeee!
