Okay, in case this cough syrup knocks me flat: your Lost discussion entry. I'm really excited about tonight's--I hear it's a Charlie episode.

ETA: That primal scream of anguish you just heard echoing across the cosmos? That was my stepfather. He'll be fine. No, really.

I hope he doesn't die! Wait--I'm just hoping that his Fate makes up Its Mind once and for all. I mean, geez. Die. Or Don't Die. But let's give Desmond a rest from all the Charlie-Saving!

Then maybe we can get back to the Jacob/Locke (dead? not dead?) plot.

Man, I'm still wrecked from last week's episode. And I just know we're not going to get any follow-up on the dead/not-dead question until the finale!

Okay, just saw the Canadian broadcast. No spoilers, but! I will say that I'll definitely be watching the American broadcast as well, because the episode was really, really good.

I think it was an excuse to get all the main non-Other and/or flashback characters into one scene, minus one John Locke. :(

Yeah. And I know I wouldn't be letting Juliet out of my sight for a minute, lest she slip off an leave another tap somewhere to let Ben know the bait has been taken. :p I don't care how much girl hates Ben, she can't be trusted.

I'm glad they finally gave Dom some decent material. I cried so many times during this episode, because I got all nostalgic about like...first season Lost.

cried when:
-He left Aaron the ring.
-He was writing down his memories
-The flashback about him meeting Claire
-Him whacking Desmond (on the head), and calling him "Brother"

Also, giggling during Liam's line "The ring must stay in the family." I couldn't help myself.

I watched the Canadian episode, and giggled too. My family is now watching the American broadcast, and that lined just played. Hee!

I totally didn't realize that was Nadia. But I was sure it had to be someone important, because no one just has run-ins with others without it being significant.

I was thinking about the ROPE TIED TO THE SEA the whole episode.

I cried when he hugged Hurley goodbye. As much as I enjoy this show despite everything, I have never shed a tear over it. So tonight was a first.

...Although I was kinda annoyed by the Cliffhanger of Mystery ending, with Charlie falling through the looking glass and ooh look, there are people here and this is only going to lead to more island riddles... I felt vaguely cheated, since I'd spent the whole episode steeling myself for his death (not that I want him to die).

I didn't see anyone mention this, but I really freaked out when Charlie saved the woman in the alleyway - it was Nadia! Sayid's Nadia!

Did everyone catch this? Maybe it was just really obvious and no one is bothering to talk about it's obviousness. Ah well. It excited me.

I have to say, *spoilers ahead, sort of* when Juliet mentioned the underwater station and Sayid was all, 'I think I know where it is,' the only thing I could think of was this (http://cleolinda.livejournal.com/285041.html): "So, segue to the rope that is tied to the sea. LOOK INTO THAT, SAYID." Then, I laughed.

And then, I had to explain that to the person I was watching.

:)

Are you feeling any better yet, Cleo? I hope so.

While Charlie was rather annoying sometimes for over a season now they did a really good job in making you care for his fate in this episode. His Greatest Hits list was actually really sweet.
I was worried Desmond would try to take his place sometime, I really do not want that to happen (it's still not entirely off the table, I fear). Why was Charlie so surprised to be alive anyway? Of course he had to make it TO the switch at least to give his death any meaning.
But hey, Charlie had a threesome with two finnish girls, he can die a happy man in case the Other (Dharma?) chicks shoot him.

Also, I am glad kickass Jack back. He is still a cool mofo when he's doing this angry "we fight back" thing.
I also like that everyone who called Juliet a false snake was wrong.

How did Sayid know the Looking glass?

I don't get why The Others make decisions on front of Alex, they should very well know they can't trust her. Oh well, good for the Losties.

I didn't expect to hear from Locke, but I would have loved to be wrong. Ahhh I can't wait for next week! If they don't let us know if he is dead or alive before next season I am gonna be so pissed.
