Thanks--I'm actually really surprised, because I felt like it was a few bright spots in a sea of not-so-great. I'm really surprised by how well it's been received, particularly considering that Potterfen can be kind of... how do I put this... exacting?

I think my favorite part of the trailer is Snape whacking Ron upside the head. I guess Rickman thought that was the best scene in GoF, too. :)

Unrelated to HP, but I wanted to show this to you and was kind of hoping you might share it with your readership. Last Friday, a performer named Mike Daisey (his website is here (www.mikedaisey.com)) was performing one of his shows when 87 people (from a group that first called themselves "a Christian group" and later said they were from a public high school) got up and walked out, disrupting the performance. One man went so far as to pour water all over Mr. Daisey's outline notes. The poor guy's reaction was, to say the least, admirable.

Having read what happened, and then the phone call afterwards, what kills me is that "they had to remove the students because it was a safety issue." From watching the video, I assume the "safety issue" was a large, angry artist coming after them--but it wouldn't have been "a safety issue" if they hadn't gone in there and wrecked his notes in the first place. It's like, let's go in, disrespect someone, and then flee when they get angry and say, "Well, I was afraid for my safety." Seriously, I don't blame him for going after them and shouting initially, because what the hell was that about? Everything else he said and wrote, though, was extremely thoughtful--I'll definitely link to it.

So- we (you) adore the Pirates movie... and there's a Kraken... and then I stumbled upon a line that was just beggin to included in a Pirates icon "Even more dangerous than the kraken!" from Clash of the Titans.
