... before I go out. (Again! My God!).

Hmm--I seem to be having a mild hypomanic streak (this is good). I'm not burning the midnight oil as obsessively as I used to--because of the Lamictal, I assume--which actually means that I have the spurt of productivity (maybe dulled a little bit), but none of the Oh My God I Have to Write This Down Before I Forget hysteria. It's a calmer, more even kind of thing. Also, I wrote (typed) 4400 words last night, and this morning I wrote about three pages, small cursive, longhand. Good times.

Question: There was a really useful site that would ping you when a website--any website you gave them--updated... and now I can't find it. It's basically what you'd want for a site that doesn't have an RSS feed, or isn't really a blog, but you'd still like to be reminded to visit it periodically.

There's nothing quite like getting bitched out for a stupid mistake (honestly, it was my fault) to ruin an otherwise good day.

Also, I'm going out to a movie tonight, but I'm not going to say which one, because deluded self-importance mass hysteria might break out if I did.

I'm thinking Blades of Glory or 300. Definitely. Or a super-dooper advance showing of Harry Potter 7.

From: [identity profile] confusedmuchly.livejournal.com
That WOULD be super-dooper advanced, seeing as we're only on 5 as it is. And the seventh book hasn't come out yet.

Wait, that must be it, it's so simple! Cleo is travelling FORWARD in time and seeing Harry Potter 7! Cleo, you devil.

If you use Firefox (which I can't remember if you do or not, sorry), there's an extension you can download called the Page Update Checker (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/920). I love it -- it always tells me when my favorite webcomics get around to updating.

Hope you had a fun night out!

For the sake of a left-field guess, I just googled new movies out this week and I'll go with Lonely Hearts because it looks a little bit like that Leibovitz film noir spread come to life, judging by the poster.
*prepares to be wrong, of course*

I'm in on the 300 betting. Though TMNHT crossed my mind too.

And this (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=447527&in_page_id=1770) is a really cute story, despite its source *shudders*

Hey Cleo, found this article about Cyber Crime and Bot Networks that mentions an attack on all of SixApart's blogs last year-http://redtape.msnbc.com/2007/04/whos_behind_cri.html#posts (scroll to the "Revenge" bit)
Thought it was interesting for sure.

Oh, finally: if [livejournal.com profile] cleolinda did a Movies in Fifteen Minutes version of Grindhouse? HEADS. WOULD. EXPLODE. That level of meta would create new heavy elements, warp the space-time continuum, open doors to other dimensions…
