Bad storm coming in--two of them, actually, "to pancake Birmingham," as my mother said. ("Uh... do you mean 'sandwich'?" "Shut up, do you need batteries?") It was seventy degrees this afternoon, so I knew something was coming. So if I go missing for a while, or even--God forbid--miss the Oscars, that's what's happened. If you will excuse me, I have to go upload my recent Word documents to sendspace/pbwiki and move some mp3s to my Zen.

So long as you aren't jellied. (Matzahed? Krispy Kremed? If you live on a desert island, are you macarooned? If so, is it then a dessert island?)

I'll trade you. I'll take your seventy degrees and t-storms. You can have the ice and snow storms that're coming in tomorrow.

Speaking of pancakes...I had the yummiest pancakes from Bob Evans the other night. Mmmmmpancakey goodness. Breakfast is sooo good anytime of day or night. :)

Stay safe down there. Make sure to write up a happy little storm post when it's all over.

We're having pancakes here too. Well ... we had a blizzard last night and we're having another blizzard tonight. The buses have shut down.

If you want a dust storm, I can send you that. We had one today and I was very the coughing.

Dude, I am in the midst of a friggin' BLIZZARD WARNING right now. I walked home in it! It wasn't terribly blizzard-y, but there is a shit-ton of snow on the ground. Like 10 inches! What the hell!

I figured as a fellow Southerner (even though I'm like, barely from the South), you'd understand my amazement. Because everyone here is like, "Whatever, it's just snow."

Also, I might be a little bit drunk.

Yeah, we got some tornado-like weather up here by Memphis. I love the unseasonably warm weather while it lasts, but the consequences are violent.
