I'm about two hours away from seeing Peter Pan, i.e., an actual movie in an actual theater. W00T!

Read From Hell this weekend. It was horrifying and heartbreaking and awesome. Oh, and if any of you guys have read it, and can tell me what the hell is going on in chapter 14, page 23--you know, that bit at the end of Gull's vision, with the Irish woman and the children that Alan Moore won't elaborate on--PLEASE tell me what that was about.

Oh, and comments are back up at the blog. I also tried to make a "TEH P4SS10N OF T3H CHR1St!!!!1! OMGWTFJOHN3:16!" icon, but the photo editor burst into flame, so... yeah.

Maybe I'll just make a T-shirt.

You're excited about Peter Pan? Did they show different trailers over there?

I am! It was good! I did see the King Arthur trailer, which I hadn't seen before. Can't remember what all else--oh, a TWENTY MINUTE featurette on Bring It On Again and that Las Vegas show on NBC. GOD.

It was! I'm going through and reading the original text before I write my review today, though. It's really surprising how many little things were taken from the book--like Hook playing the piano/harpsichord/whatever/thing. Or the Lost Boy who says, "Did you hear that, Nibs! I'm in a story!"

Oh, and thanks for the Chasing Liberty review, by the way--it's up, although I think I'm going to have to check and make sure that I did link it on the main reviews page...

Huh. It looked terrible judging from the trailer.

But yay for Arthur *goes to happy Keira place*

Well, I wanted to see it for Jason Isaacs if for no one else, and even I thought the trailers sort of sucked. The use of Coldplay in the first one was nice, though.

Oh and I just flicked through From Hell, looking for confirmation of what I thought had happened. Can't find any but I think it's Mary Kelly, she escaped to Ireland, left the note for Abberline and Julia died in her place.

I know that's how the movie ended... hmmm. I'll have to read over that part again and see how the "Fair Emma" thing fits in. Maybe it's to suggest that she's confused with the other women a lot, because she has the same nicknames as them...?

So... basically, what they spelled out in the movie. I think I was trying to make it too hard--I assumed it was something different. Thanks for the link, though--I may post that in "Ask a Stupid Question," since I post my own a good bit.

Oh, and Alan Moore totally looks like a serial killer, doesn't he? Like Manson's younger brother or something.
