Okay, I'm not crazy: there really is an acknowledged Yahoo mail/Firefox bug, and zoniduck's fix seems to have solved the problem. Huzzah!

(You may also want to check this page for common extension problems and check the ones you have against their list. I had no idea that running FlashBlock and NoScript together was problematic.)

I remember watching the film adaptation in English a couple of years ago, and it was truly scarring. Plus once people bring out pictures of him in the play (as they are bound to), it will be SO hard to imagine him as Harry ever again. I don't think I will be able to stop giggling.

Oh, God, shoot me now. I have an irrational hatred of Daniel Radcliffe.

It is NOT about "sexual" esctasy- it's about connecting with the horse, with the natural world, with LIFE. He does not get a hard on from riding a horse!

And a guy riding a horse naked would be so, so painful. I hope he chafes his balls and racks himself on the pommel of the saddle a few times.

He's not the one who said that though. In fairness, he may be perfectly aware of what that scene is about. I've never read/seen the play, but it seems to me that this is the sort of more modern drama that people often have a hard time understanding (partly because we're not really used to seeing plays, and we think that they're live movies, but it's a different craft and plays tend to tackle different issues, especially when compared to Hollywood films).

I so absolutely adore this play, with a fangirl's love, oh madly do I love it. But I can see where the distancing is going to be vital: being dragged out of the play's deep psychological ramifications by the thought of "Harry Potter's penis may be up for a Tony" would just kill it for me.

i've never seen Equus but I think i'll just start laughing anyway. hahahahaha. Hey he can't be Harry forever, he knows that anyway. Maybe she should join Frodo (Elijah) and Luke Skywalker(Mark Hamil) and make a film together :)

I knew he was going to star in Equus for a while, I think one of the HP new site talked about that, months go. The Uncle Vernon thing is just funny. I know they won't mess with the play, but it'd be awesome if they could slip in some sort of tongue in cheek reference into their together scenes, at least once. Hang a picture of Aunt Petunia on a wall, for example.
