MSNBC Breaking News email: "Vice President Dick Cheney accidentally shoots man... More to come." Holy crap.

(Ah, wait, here's more from CNN: "Vice President Dick Cheney accidentally shot and injured a man during a hunting trip in Texas, The Associated Press reports." I was imagining a weird fracas inside the Oval Office itself.)

Meanwhile, my sister and I are both hungry, and we haven't had lunch, so... screw it, we're just gonna order pizza for dinner now. Mmmm.

(I still want a refund on my snow, though. By the time it stopped falling there wasn't even any left on the ground.)

P.S. All the BPAL that's been paid for is, in fact, in the mail.

Aw, man! That's disappointing! There DEF should have been some big shoot-out in the OK Corral White House.

You can come up here to the Great White North New Hampshire, Cleo. We have LOTS of snow.

Yup. LOTS and LOTS of snow. And we just lurv it so much, yes we do. o_0

Hell, she doesn't even have to go that far. We've got a not-insignificant amount here in DC. I took a snow day from church because of it (which is sad, because back when I was an undergrad in the wilds of Western New York I wouldn't have even batted an eye. but the zipper on my winter boots broke).
Plus, here you can walk by the White House and laugh at them.

Bush tarnishes Nero's good image. At least Nero was polite enough to be up front about being insane. And you have to respect that in a person.

Don't talk about it too much. Bush might get ideas and start crucifying liberals. Or something.

Love your hamster icon.

That story reminds me of when I visited my cousins, my sister and I went to church with them. We are non-religious, so you can imagine how uncomfortable we felt when the Sunday school teacher was instructing the kids to basically say God created everything if anyone mentioned evolution. I felt like I was watching a brain-washing session. It was scary....

You guys had snow down there? Man, I'm jealous! We had a big fat rainy day in my part of NC yesterday. Snow is so pretty while falling; too bad it didn't stick. I'm pretty much despairing of getting any form of white precipitation this winter. I think the bit of snow we saw last weekend in the NC mountains is going to have to last me for the year.

Also, randomly, I just finished having pizza for dinner also.

So I've been lurking for a while and have never commented, because I have anxiety over commenting on the journals of people I don't actually know, but I have a link I want to pass along. Designhergals.com (http://designhergals.com): like an online dollmaker, but you can have personalized stationery printed up with the gals you design. They also donate a portion of all their proceeds to a foundation dedicated to helping patients diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer.

I'm just sharing for the heck of it-I'm so addicted to your linkspam posts, and thought I'd share because it seems like something you might have fun with. Hopefully it's not old news to you. :)

Oh, cool! I'm actually in the market for some personalized stationery. : )

(And don't worry about commenting here. I can see how it would feel weird on someone whose journal is only commented on by a small group of close friends, but I have so many people coming and going here that it's just like, the more the merrier. New people come in all the time, and it's totally no big thing. : )

Dearest Cleo. I found a random quiz online (don't worry, linkage to ensue) and well. I pretty much think it's true. And funny.

Dear Cupid,
This year, I've had my ups and downs in the love department.
I was arrested for stalking Wokeupinnacar.
I got drunk at a party and ran around naked and Wokeupinnacar still makes fun of me.
I sang a love song to Eschivir but they lost their life long love of music.
So, as you can see, it's been a hectic year. Can you please make Cleolinda fall in love with me this Valentine's day?
Sincerely,
caffienerain

So I'm pretty much in love with you. (http://www.quizgalaxy.com/quiz.php?id=76)

Dear Cupid,
This year, I've had my ups and downs in the love department.
Cleolinda gave me an STD which makes my skeleton want to jump out of my body.
[so on and so forth]
Sincerely,
caffienerain

It just gets better and better. (http://www.quizuniverse.com/quiz.php?id=46)

I feel you on that!

we had a nearly-three-days-long snowstorm and then it stopped, it started raining, then there was a bit of sun and then, all of suddenly, no more snow -- 'xcept for the crusty, filthy bits that remain at the sides of the roads. it just stayed up for as long as to be an inconvenience -- like, for instance, it took me about one hour to get to and from work, whereas usually it takes about 15 minutes -- and then it went poof. so, so unfair!

yeah, i think a lot of us in the southern states are demanding our money back. What pissed me off is for some damn reason like every secondary school in the six county area is out of school. I live in East TN, and there's, like, nothing...except some soggy roads and flakes that melt before they hit the ground. And they said 3-5 inches, my ass.
