Specifically THIS is the link to the movie directly. (http://progressive.stream.aol.com/aol/us/moviefone/movies/2005/chroniclesofnarniathelionthewitchandthewardrobethe_019417/chroniclesofnarniathelionthewitchandthewardrobethe_trlr_01_high_dl.mov)
Thanks! I've downloaded it successfully, but it won't play on Quicktime - I'm told the file name is bad. Any ideas how to fix this, or will I have to just stream it?
Looks bloody fantastic. And -- "The Chronicles Begin?" Oh please oh please oh please let that mean they're going to make Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader too.
You know, I got goosebumps watching it, too! And I've never even read the books - the only Narnia adaptation I've seen was an animated version years and years ago (even then, though, I clearly remember being very upset over Aslan, and it was funny because just seeing the bits of him in the trailer I found myself getting kind of weepy, heh...)
Oh my gosh!! YAY! It looks just like the way the book tells it.. if that makes sense. I almost want to see this more than Goblet; does that make me a traitor?
Just a question. Am I the only one that's a little sad that they didn't make The Magician's Nephew first? I mean, it's not as exciting and fewer people know it, but if they're going for the whole Chronicals... Oh well. Still looking forward to this one.
Ooh. That was nice. I liked how the room with the closet looked almost precicely like the one in the BBC version (which I know, love, and now have on dvd). The bbc weren't smart enough to have the kids at different ages, however. That bit always puzzled me as a kid.
I'm pescivendolo's husband, and have been reading your stuff over her shoulder for too long. I finally remembered to add you to my friends list. I feel like we should take you out to lunch or something, before we leave Birmingham.
Cleo-love, I realise this is terribly random, but a friend of mine just directed me to the CrystalWank highlights page and the Littlest Armadillo made me suck a raisin down my windpipe. I was forced to perform the Heimlich over the back of my computer chair. Seriously. I don't want to die this way. That page totally needs a warning label.
Dunno if you've seen this already, but here's a link to the actual trailer (http://narnia.nexcess.net/?id=248) rather than the "behind the scenes" stuff. You need to click on the link to the French trailer, then click on the second link that says "teaser" for the English.
