I can't quite believe it, but I think I just finished Independence Day.

I'm breaking until after dinner, and then we move on to Spider-Man.

Also, word on the street is that Sister Girl's making doughnuts in bake shop today. Mmmm, doughnuts.

Congrats! Looks like we both had productive days, as I finally got a few pages of thesis written after almost two weeks of block.

I'm not sure what calebrating is, but you can do that too, if you want.

Donuts would totally win in a death match against waffles.

Yeah, I said it!

Depends on the weight class. In the light & fluffy weight class (Krispy Kreme vs. regular waffles), donuts rule. In the thick & meaty weight class (cake donuts vs. Belgian waffles), waffles kick butt.

Hmmm....a breakfast pastry/wrestling analogy. That's a first for me.

I don't know if you saw this but in the Sunday Bham paper, they were talking about some recent local media event where one of the local weathermen (not a name I recognized) was speaking. He said that he had forecasted rain and maybe some thunderstorms but he thought it would be okay and in addition, he'd asked around with some of the other local weathermen in the room to gauge what they thought. He said that David Neal also predicted mild thunderstorms but thought everything would be fine and another guy agreed and then he asked James Spann for his opinion and he said, "Run for your lives!"

Yay! Congrats on getting ID finished. This one went a lot quicker than the others. (No doubt because the other two were longer and more death-filled.) Spider-Man should be nice and quick too. Good luck and props for getting started on a new movie so quickly.

Major props, girl. You deserve gobs of chocolate every time you finish one. I know it's a popular sentiment, but I can't WAIT to read this book. I know I'm going to have to put a piece o plastic on my chair for the peeing from the funny.

Let us know how the donuts turn out - better than Krispy Kreme, I'm bettin'.

Yay for ID4-done-ness!

And now, on to "spiddermann."

(The joke I saw (on Slashdot? mayhap?) was something along the lines of, if you leave out the hyphen in Spider-Man it makes it look like a Jewish-ish name. "Hi, my name's Spiderman.")

(I didn't say it was a funny joke, did I?)

Are there rules for the pimpage amnesty? I have this link that I'd love for you to pimp, but see, I make money off of it, so that's likely not fair. Let me know.

Well, depends what it is, of course. If it's cool in and of itself, profit doesn't matter to me. I just want to make sure I don't post some kind of scam. But, like, if Kira wanted me to link to her Lost t-shirt and pin site, I wouldn't have a problem with that.
