Brief break between viewing #37 of Gladiator and viewing #38:

New Charlie and the Chocolate Factory poster!

Stupid allergies. Stupid sinuses. Stupid [snrrrrrrrrk!].

And... that's about all I have to say. Except that I adore Connie Nielsen's wardrobe in Gladiator. Specifically, her jewelry (although I wish I could rock a sash the way she does). MY SOUL CRAVES HER EARRINGS.

And chocolate. My soul also craves chocolate.

the more i see of tim burton's remake, the more i wish he'd remade something that...really cried out to be remade, you know? between this and planet of the apes i really wish he'd remade buckaroo banzai or something. i mean, johnny depp in a louise brooks wig only gets you so far.

on a lighter note: both echinecha (sp) and ginger do wonders for the immune system, and ginger really cleans out the sinuses. i hope you feel better.

I really like Connie Nielson's costumes in Gladiator! I know a lot of people who think they're really overblown (apparantly, the designer just designed costumes for Connie and Joaquin Phoenix and left everything to her assistant, and once you know that you REALLY notice it!) but I think they really work. There's a really weird shop underneath an office block in central London that supplied all the trimmings and braids and some of the jewellery, and it's just a treasure trove of amazingness!

I'm now craving another viewing of Gladiator...
