actually, you might be surprised at all the drama that goes on over lj. i think it's the fact that at the time people post things in their own journal, they aren't always thinking about who might end up reading them.

Well yeah, it is sort of a modern retelling of the tale of the emperor's nose. See, nobody knew what the dying emperor looked like, for it was death to gaze upon him.
