Quick note, as I think I confused folks with the line "Tonight is one of those nights": The Oscars come on Sunday night at 7:30 pm my time (Central). Check your local listings, as the saying goes. I have no idea when I'll start blogging, but you'll probably see me checking in here during the day.

*facepalm* So that's why they weren't showing up in my TV Guide...

Awww! They're on ABC, by the way. I got several comments, however, that indicated that people would be checking my journal tonight, and I was like, "Uh... I'ma be asleep, y'all."

They're live in all time zones. Which is convenient, since I'm in Pacific, and that means I can see them all and get to bed early. ;-) My mom, on the other hand, is on the East coast and falls asleep about an hour into it.

Cleo! This is completely unrelated but I finally saw Phantom tonight! And I am totally blown away... mostly by the hotness of Gerard and mostly Patrick Wilson. Wow. I sincerely applaud the casting.

I loved it, though I definetly giggled at the cheesiness a little bit. I may have to officially join this fandom.

Dude, I am saying! Welcome to the circle. You are among friends who understand your pain.

(Emmy Rossum is presenting something at the Oscars. We have hopes that one or both of her costars might accompany. Then again, tickets are tight, so I don't know.)

[Hi. You don't know me, but... XD]

They're on at like... 1am for me. Or something. Woe!

Oh, and on a unrelated note, I went to see a panto where they started having the DUN! DUHDUHDUHDUHDUN! Music playing, and I started quoting the M15M, earning a laugh and a 'Shhh!' from my mother. Oh well.

Absolutely unrelated post, off-topic etc.. but it won't stop bothering me. Where did "I KEEL you ded" come from? I was watching The Bourne Identity last night (for the first time EVAR, OMG!!!1!one!1) and I couldn't help but laugh when Wombosi (the African dude) goes "Yoo keel heem. Yoo keel heem DED." And then I couldn't stop wondering if that's where "I KEEL you (ded)" comes from, or if I'm just picking at straws and that cliche line appears in every other movie... LOL XD

I've actually never seen either of the Bourne movies (and I should, because I like Franka Potente). I'm not sure where "I KEEL YOU" came from, but "ded" just came from message board comments I'd see where people would say things like "*dies and is ded*".

Oh. OK. LOL Ah well, you definitely have to see both movies!!! The first movie is as good as the book, but so far I've come to the conclusion that the second movie was WAY better than the second book. Apparently The Bourne Ultimatum is coming out some time in the future, I'm curious to see how different from the book it will be... (movie 1 veered avay from th book after 10 minutes and never came back! Movie 2 is completely changed! LOL)

Franka Potente is great and I enjoyed it for Matt Damon too... *hides* lol
