Well, finally Photobucket finished maintenance and I was able to upload an embarrassingly large new batch of Sin City bases/icons. (The new icons go all the way through page 7 now.) What can I say? I pillaged the new website for images with my handy "Print Scrn" button. As always, want/take/have, do what you want, make your own, don't hotlink, rock out.

P.S. That first icon in the sample row up there? Elijah Wood. Yeah, this movie is gonna be crazy.

Hee. Apparently he looks a good bit like the character in the comics anyway, but he insisted on some sort of "prosthetics" to look even more so (I'm guessing nose and brow ridge, myself, given how the character's drawn). I finally realized that that was why people were like, "OMG he looks so bad! What happened to him?!"

Yeah, I know my Benicio and I can tell which parts are prosthetics--especially in the nose and brow ridge as you said. I have no shame in out and admitting my crush on Benicio Del Toro. Loud and proud!

Yep, that's Britney Murphy (as Goldie). And as to why she isn't any of those things (and the angel wings)... she dead in the movie. Marv (Mickey Rourke) spends the night with her and she's dead the next morning. He's framed for the murder. That's what kicks off the movie.

Actually, Brittany Murphy plays Shelley (Jaime King is Goldie). Those aren't angel wings--it's just her hair blowing back. If you go to sincitythemovie.com and to the "Shelley" (or "Shellie"--they spell it two different ways on the same site) character page, you can see the image I used.

All of my icons are png--higher image quality than jpg, and you don't get the weird pixelated-fuzzy look you sometimes get with gifs.

I nabbed this one -- it just struck me as very beautiful. I love the stark red and yellow.
