I don't understand who Frank the Shrimp Man is...although I did miss the first 15 minutes as I forgot it was Wednesday at 8 pm.

Best line: "That's why the Red Sox will never win the World Series." That has to be significant later, since they totally DID.

I think it has more to do with Fate and how Jack's Father would use it an excuse to avoid his problems and never admit his faults.

I totally missed that the guy in the bar with Sawyer was Jack's Dad...I was wondering why a random guy was getting all philosophical with him, but that does tend to happen in bars.
Okay, Claire's pregnancy--her belly is now LUDICROUSLY large; she appears to have three or four kids in there. Seriously, if she doesn't squirt Young Antichrist out very soon her little spine will just SNAP. Already, the enormosity of that baby compared to her wee pelvis bodes ill. I could buy that it's water weight or something, but the rest of her is so dang TINY. Right up there with the 'just do it' people: JUST HAVE IT ALREADY!
