Why waste time with people who don't treat you well? Make some new friends.

Oooo, dog. I think Horoscope of Irony is callin' y'all out. Completely without reason, I might add. ; )

All the song links have been replaced; let me know if any of them run out and I'll repost. By the way, here's Teh Sekrit Meaning of "I Would Do Anything for Love (Etc., Etc.)," for those of you who have always wondered.

Well, if you're going to listen to one song every single morning, that's a good one to pick.

But Mr. Brightside is such an awesome song. I don't think I could ever get tired of it.

That's true. I have been addicted to many songs like that.

Oh my gosh I thought you were just joking :)
I saw it earlier because you're the only LJist I knew with lots on their friend's list (and broke LJ), it looked like you could make a quilt out of all those squares.
Would I be too weird if I said I made a copy of your collage and could email it to you if you want?

At least you don't listen to japanese soundtracks to quirky games like Katamari Damacy over and over...Then you'd go nuts like me.

The first time I heard it, I didn't really see the supercrazylove. But now, I'm really loving the music. Just the whole mood of it, all dark and...manky.

Heh. I didn't get it either until maybe the third listen. It grows on you... LIKE A FUNGUS.

I've listened to that song about fifteen times since last night. Oh, what am I saying, it's far, far more. Of course, I've also been varying with The Notwist, "One With The Freaks", but those are the only two songs, really. I'll end up listening to another, and switch back.

You just know there's a subliminal message going on there. If you play it backwards, I bet it's someone saying, "Kill..." but you just don't know it.

I just found out this morning that an email I sent you on Friday wasn't delivered to you. Since this was a reponse to an email you sent me, perhaps your horoscope has picked on me as not treating you well by ignoring your email. Well, I didn't, horoscope. So ner.

Make some new friends.

Do you have room for new friends? Perhaps you could put them in the garage, because I don't think your old ones are going be easy to remove from everywhere else. :)

I just sent you several, and am belatedly wondering if it's overkill. Let me know if there's anything you particularly like or dislike, so I'll know what not to send if there's a next time, or if you'd like more of anything. :)

The guitar in "Cells" has been reminding me of a song, but I can't figure out what it is. I'm not entirely sure, but it might be the "Imagine" cover by A Perfect Circle. Have you heard it? They have a similar mood, and the hooks sound a little alike.

After re-re-rewatching the Sin City trailer, am I the only one who thinks Benicio Del Toro looks like a ghost of himself? I realize it's mainly b&w so the swarthiness is lost, but he looks more like Wormtongue than the rugged guy from, say, Traffic.
Also: Has anyone else seen this? On late-night TV (Dallas-Fort Worth area) there's one of those 'call now to talk to hot local chicks' commercials, and I SWEAR the tank-top-clad girl twisting the phone cord around her finger is Evangeline Lilly. I've seen it several times, and I really think it's her. I know, everyone has to start somewhere...I just keep imagining what would happen to a guy who tried to treat our Kate as a 'hot local girl'. Heh.

It's entirely possible. One of her first jobs was, in fact, ads for that sort of thing. Someone around here must have a link to the pictures.

It's been confirmed that it's Evangeline Lilly. I think lost_news here on LJ had something about it--a scan of a print ad, too.

Ah, thank you for that! I have always wondered! I never understood why it was considered such a great song, since I was always like, =HE'S MAKING NO SENSE! HOW CAN THIS SONG BE SO GOOD IF HE'S NOT MAKING ANY SENSE! This never would have happened if he had named the song something like, "I Would Do Anything for Nookie".

Even explained, those lyrics make no sense. Of course...sense? Meatloaf? Look, I've enshrined Meatloaf in my Hall of Memory Fame from the Rocky Horror Picture Show*, but that's not really up there with the Dalai Lama or Ghandi.

Btw, I actually bought 'Bat Out of Hell 2' for that song.

Yarha, Will Sell Pencils for Love
* As well as Charles Gray, the narrator/criminologist who also played Ernst Stavros Blofeld in Diamonds are Forever. I can never watch that movie without hearing 'it's just a jump to the left'.
