Awwww, man. I really want to watch Peyton Place on TCM tonight, but I'm so close to locking down the rest of Titanic that I probably shouldn't take my mind elsewhere.

It was crazy--I was up until three am last night writing, not just futzing around but actually pounding it out, and then I was up at eight this morning writing connective tissue. It was weird--I finally had one of those mornings where I could say, "This needs to be written, so now I will write it," and I would just fill in the gaps. Of course, it's still overdue as all hell, but... there you go.

We're up to 39 pages. It'll definitely be 40, maybe more, by the time it's done. That's about twice as long as usual, although I'm sure "Rose!" "Jack!" "Rose!" "Jack!" takes up a good bit of that space. I was a zombie in class--not because I was tired, but because Uncle Tom's Cabin was completely crowded out by all the Titanic miscellany.

My head hurts. I'm hungry. Where's dinner? I want cake.*

* Do not actually send me cake.

Could you pretty please make an index of you lovely Lost recaps?

I live in NZ and it's only just started playing here...I'd like to send my friends over to read the funny but I can't find them reliably and your calendar on the side-bar defaults to the current month, making searching by hand (as it were) kinda hard.

Yeah, that's all. Keep up the good work!

*luff*

There's a list in my memories section--I can't remember if "Lost" or "TV" is the most updated, but it's one of those. I can't get to them right now--LJ says the feature's unavailable--but you can eventually get to memories through my user info page. : )

(Thanks!)

...connective tissue?

Clearly I am not up on all the writer phrases.

Yum!

Oh, that's just an expression of mine, I guess--I write out of order, pretty much. I just write whichever part comes to me whenever. Thus, I end up needing to write connective bits to string them all together--like how people got from point A to point B and all that.

We had a birthday cake last night...wish I'da saved you some, I coulda mailed it and you'd have gotten it in the condition that Harry's cake was in when Hagrid carried it in his coat pocket.

I wouldn't really send cake in the mail.

And while we're throwing out compliments, I sent your Phantom in 15 Minutes via link to a friend, and she said it was one of the funniest things she's read in a long time.

Oh hey - did you get any comments about your new glasses? (forgive me if you've posted this already. I'm working backward through my flist as we speak)

Hey, I didn't even think about that--no, I don't think I did. In the end, the two pairs of glasses seem to be indistinguishable to the casual observer. : )

Neopets <33 yo soy punkbr1tt. And one time, Cleo tried to add me as a friend. And I went stupid and pressed the wrong button :/

::hands Cleo brownies:: I know you wanted cake, but I was raised on the philosophy that brownies can fix anything. So there ya go. Brownies for the AMAZING Cleo. As soon as you finish what's sure to be another great Cleo work, go take a l-o-n-g bubble bath (complete with candles and music), and then make more brownies. It'll help. Also, don;t ever ever ever give up. You have all of your amazing fans/readers/whatever supporting you, and I wish that I had 1/8th of your talent. I started reading your LJ because of your m15m on Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban ::smiles with glee at the memory:: and now whenever I'm stressed out, I come here for a bit of fun and humor. Thanks for being able to do that. I'd send loads more brownies, but I don't think there's enough brownie batter to show you how much you're loved. ::gives Cleo a HUGE hug::
You'll finish it. I know you will.
~~xoxo~~
p.s. to all of you guys ::points to everyone posting:: keep up the encouragement. we all know Cleo loves it.

Okay, so on that entry of yours about the way cool mother, [livejournal.com profile] duncanatrix commented about her suitemate's health teacher, who thought you could get AIDS from hanging around people with AIDS, and I said I would write a blog post about how HIV is really transmitted, and then [livejournal.com profile] elbales told me I should post a link here since she thought some of your readers would be interested in dispelling those myths too, so here I am.

This journal entry (http://www.livejournal.com/users/spectralbovine/1824.html) has the link to the blog post, if people are interested in explaining to people how HIV is and isn't transmitted.

(By chance, that entry also includes info about a fan campaign to get VM renewed. Would you mind spreading the word in your next linkspam? Your fans are legion.)

This comment was supported by the National Pimp Foundation. All proceeds go toward buying a new pair of orange pimp shades. Thank God for the link smugglers.
