Awwww, man. I really want to watch Peyton Place on TCM tonight, but I'm so close to locking down the rest of Titanic that I probably shouldn't take my mind elsewhere.

It was crazy--I was up until three am last night writing, not just futzing around but actually pounding it out, and then I was up at eight this morning writing connective tissue. It was weird--I finally had one of those mornings where I could say, "This needs to be written, so now I will write it," and I would just fill in the gaps. Of course, it's still overdue as all hell, but... there you go.

We're up to 39 pages. It'll definitely be 40, maybe more, by the time it's done. That's about twice as long as usual, although I'm sure "Rose!" "Jack!" "Rose!" "Jack!" takes up a good bit of that space. I was a zombie in class--not because I was tired, but because Uncle Tom's Cabin was completely crowded out by all the Titanic miscellany.

My head hurts. I'm hungry. Where's dinner? I want cake.*

* Do not actually send me cake.

Cake makes everything better. ::nods::

On another note, I had a surreal moment today. I mentioned M15M in class today whilst discussing storyline and parody, and another kid said, "Hey, I read those! Do you read her LOST recaps too?"

Truly, the sacrifices you make for the rest of us are heroic and should be commemorated. Possibly with a decorative plaque.

Wow, productivity. If only it could be bottled...along with willpower, fulfillment, and strength. Good luck finishing writing everything down.

.:pats Cleo head:. There, there. In a few days this will all be a happy memory.

...or maybe not. But it will be a memory, the emotion attatched to it not withstanding.

Peyton Place was a let-down; don't be too disappointed.

Ever get the email I sent maybe two weeks ago?

Wow, sorry branched out a bit.
At least you know, that this will make a lot of people happy.

And, Prince can get anyone through anything.

This is totally off topic, but I had a dream about your website a few nights ago. I can't remember what happened, but I remember that it was imperative that I go to your site. Ummmmm...yes...

*hands you every kind of cake there is* You've done an excellent job, I'm sure, and it'll all be worth it later on. Keep going - we're all rooting for you to come out on top, Cleo!

See, PP is a huge guilty pleasure of mine--I've seen it several times, but not all the way through in one sitting, I don't think, which was why I wanted to watch it tonight.

I did! Did I not reply? The icon was great--I'd like to maybe see a fancy script "woe." and maybe a very plain type one as well. People seemed interested enough that I think both would go over. : )

Glad to hear you're finally making progress and can see the light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak. Even though it's overdue and you've still got quite a few more to do, but we won't talk about that.

40 pages? *squeals*

Cake sounds good. Damn it. I shouldn't have cake. We don't have any cake anyway.

Prince and the Titanic?

That in itself is a genius/sick combo and so much more interesting than what James (I let my ego and maudlin heart get in the way of my great technical skills) Cameron did. Celine Dion, I wish her no personal ill will but she should be paid to stop. Really. Truly ... and pretty Please.

Ah well, guilty pleasures should be indulged as often as possible (gazes fondly on battered Valley of the Dolls VHS). At least TCM has kept PP on a rotating schedule; hopefully next time *g*

Emails go boom sometimes. Good points: there are a couple of scripty and plain ones but we could push both of them further with other typefaces. Next set will be on templates in PDF format.

I want cake.

You say things like that, you know, and about three thousand people rush to the post office and mail you cake. And you'd think cake wouldn't mail well, but a friend of mine did in fact run a Smushed Cake Contest for which her readers were to mail her cake. The cake would be judged on traits like taste and smushiness. I think only one person entered, though.
