Okay, here's a brain teaser while I'm class that's sort of inspired by the comments in the last entry:

So far, I've posted "Fifteen Minutes" for Van Helsing, Dracula (1979. No other version counts for the purposes of the game), Hannibal, Hidalgo, The Day After Tomorrow, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, King Arthur, and Phantom of the Opera. (Yes, those are the only ones online. If you've read any other movies, they weren't by me. ETA: Dammit, I did forget Troy. ) So many people want Lemony Snicket (and since I never closed the Snicket-Phantom poll, it's currently leading. You know, after the fact...) that I'm going to see if I can fit that one in sometime--in the next couple of months, I mean. So you can count that one if you like.

In the book, we've got Jurassic Park, Independence Day, Braveheart, Gladiator, Titanic, The Matrix, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone, Spider-Man, Attack of the Clones, and Lord of the Rings (all three). All of these movies count as well.

Here's the game: Find me a movie with as many 15M actors as possible. I guess we can give separate points for "number of actors" and "number of 15Ms represented." (The example that came up in the comments was Timeline--four actors, four different "Movies in Fifteen Minutes." Well, three plus the future Snicket.) The LOTR, Star Wars, and Harry Potter casts ALONE should make this an interesting game.

So. I'll be gone for a couple of hours; y'all leave what you find in the comments. I don't know what we'll do with the answer, but it might well get its own "Fifteen Minutes" when time allows. That, and it's mostly just intellectual (or "intellectual") curiosity on my part. Have fun!

Don't forget Troy. XD

(I finally got around to watching that movie recently, and it was all I could do to keep a straight face when remembering the m15m on it. And my sister's face when I told her that Achilles and Patroclus were not, in fact, cousins? Utterly hilarious. XD)

I didn't even try to keep a straight face. My mom kept calling me while I was watching it, so I was on the phone with her while laughing whenever I saw Achilles or Paris or anything else mentioned in the m15m. She was rather confused.

Visions of King Arthur and Amidala in M15M-type slash have just ruined the rest of my work day.

*depraved smirk*

Oh, Mel Gibson in EVERY. LAST. Lethal Weapon. There have GOT to be antagonists of his in other M15M's.

Oh! And what's that movie that just came out with Dennis Quaid and the guy from that 70's show that looks like just spiderman...

And Jeff Goldblum - god, what HASN'T he been in???

Black Hawk Down. Off the top of my head it's got actors from LotR (Orlando Bloom), Harry Potter (Jason Isaacs), Star Wars (Ewan McGregor) and King Arthur (Hugh Dancy & Ioan Gruffudd). Didn't you do Troy too? Add that to list of movies with actors in BHD too (Eric Bana).

Love Actually = Kiera Knightley (King Arthur), Alan Rickman (HP-POA), Emma Thompson (HP-POA), Liam Neeson (didn't he have a flashback in Return of the Clones? Eh, ok, maybe not. I'm thinking of the Sir Alec Guiness flashback thing in the original movies).

When in doubt, the answer to "movie featuring every British actor alive" is Love Actually.

Technically, Liam is in AOTC too -- you can hear him screaming, "Anakin! No!" as the kid slaughters the sandpeople, and Yoda is meditating on it in his chamber.

VERY tenuous, yes, but could be allowed :)

Thought you'd like this little snippet!
"Is a romance brewing on the set of "Lost"? USA Today says Evangeline Lilly, 25, and erstwhile Hobbit Dominic Monaghan, 28, were "inseparable" at the Golden Globes, and even engaged in some PDA. Lilly, a Canadian actress who came out of nowhere to snag the role of Kate on the smash ABC series, was supposedly spotted smooching Monaghan's neck during the evening. "

Richard Griffiths - Harry Potter (Uncle Vernon)
Fiona Shaw - Harry Potter (Aunt Petunia)
Zoe wanamaker - Harry Potter (Madam Hooch)
Mark Williams - Harry Potter (Arthur Weasley)

Okie, so I found a movie coming out where everyone in it is a M15M player...problem is there's only 4 people credited to the movie. But, I was HIGHLY amused by the plot outline of it though.:

'The story of an uptown rat that gets flushed down the toilet from his penthouse apartment, ending in the sewers of London, where he has to learn a whole new and different way of life.'

It's called 'Flushed Away' and is an animated movie with Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Andy Serkis and Ian McKellen.

Someone mentioned one that just had actor voices, so I hope a television movie counts...even though this one's kinda weak.

"Pride"

Kate Winslet-Titanic
John Hurt-Harry Potter SS
Robbie Coltrane-Harry Potter
Sean Bean-LOTR
(incidentally it also has Martin Freeman who's gonna be in Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, which you KNOW you'll want to do in the future.) ^_^

Another of course is Gosford Park
Maggie Smith-Harry Potter
Michael Gambon-Harry Potter POA
Geraldine Somerville-Harry Potter
Clive Owen-King Arthur
Derek Jacobi-Gladiator
and...well...I'm sure many others...but too lazy to look them all up

Shout out to Black Hawk Down....If only we could take the majority of the actors on there, and put them in another movie together.

(detaches self from imdb IV.)
