I am running so behind and I can't think of anything to say, I just keep staring at the screen and when I try to write, all that comes out is really bad Captain Obvious-style prose summary and sob. okay, cleo. this is going to sound REALLY weird, but i assure you, it worked for me.

a friend of mine told me a few months ago that, when i wake up, i should say a few things about myself. and always start with assertive words. such as, "i am happy". or, "i am healthy". or, "i am confident". it sounds weird, but it worked. within a week, i was smiling more and holding my head up whenever i walked into a new situation. it's odd, but it's worth a try. get up tomorrow, say, "i am funny and creative" or something to that effect, and if you feel you need more help during the day, say it again. worth a shot, no?
