This is why I don't watch movies like that. I have enough trouble sleeping because of the moves I've watched in the past - I don't need more stuff to keep me awake at night!

Dear GOD, that movie looks freaky. I've seen the first one, but it's very different when you're watching it in your well-lit bedroom on a sunny Saturday morning as opposed to on a huge screen in a very dark room. Dunno if I can make that one. But it looks reasonably interesting.

Man. That little kid (the boy) is going to need so much therapy it's not even funny.

Dammit. Sometimes I wish I could be afraid of bad horror movies like everyone else. I guess being raised watching the Nightmare on Elm Street movies (I was watching them from age 5) totally desensitized me to the whole genre. There's a couple of movies that make me really uneasy, but that's it.
And The Ring. Don't get me started. Everyone was like "OMG It's so SCARYYYY!" And I thought it might actually be. So I watched it, and I kept waiting for the scary. And it never happened. It was over and I was like "That's it?! I wanted to be SCARED dammit! That wasn't scary at all!"
Yea.. I'm not going to waste my money on this one. Just gonna wait for it to be WAY overplayed on HBO like the first one was.

Pick up a copy of "Infinite Jest." DFW does a whole "now he ded from ebil videotape" subplot. Flipping through the rest of the book will numb your brain and make you forget all about the movie.

I soooo don't want to see this movie, but my husband and his friends have all made plans to go already, and I'm going to end up submitting myself to torture rather than stay home by myself.

It's not even scary, scary I can handle. It's disturbing and horrifying and creepy. I watched the first one like, 10 times, trying to get so I could see it without being freaked out, but I still haven't been able to make my peace with it. I'm sure this one won't be any different.
