4christina.org fundraising: If I'm doing the Excel spreadsheet correctly, we now have $2217.65. I'm probably not, though, so I'm going to have the Mominatrix come up here and look at what I'm doing. If you have donated and you do have a LJ (and therefore can use the poll), please log what you gave if you haven't already, because your donation may not have been included in the total otherwise. And please use that poll rather than just the comments, because it's easier to put into the spreadsheet that way, rather than hunting and pecking through comment sections. Anything you've given because you heard about it on Livejournal--any Livejournal--or Fandom Wank counts. I know we won't catch everything, which is fine--it's all going to Christina whether we tally it or not. But it will definitely help with the fundraising efforts to know how much we've gotten. And I think y'all should know, too, so you can feel proud of what you've accomplished.

I'm thinking I'm going to set the [livejournal.com profile] m15m fundraising goal at $5000--that is, let's add to the current $2217.65 total.

Today's horoscope: Get your friends together and have a baking party. Everybody loves cupcakes.

Weeeeird. I was downstairs helping Mom bake earlier--today she's making poppyseed bread, banana bread, pumpkin bread, pralines, thumbprint cookies, orange-slice cookies, and mini cheesecakes. (Dude.) If we had cupcakes, life would be perfect.

Apparently FOTR comes on TNT tonight. Maybe THIS will be the extended version. (It damn ought to be--they're running it for three hours and 45 minutes.)

Also, speaking of polls, the Christmas greeting thing is still open.

1. Mountain Dew

I keep hearing about this. I wish I could find it over here in Blighty.

Italy (Venice, Florence, and Tuscany)

I looked at a calendar of Venice the other day. God, it's so pretty it nearly kills me. Want to afford a visit. Paris + Venice = places I want to visit NOW.

3. Go to the Oscars. Like, have a real seat and everything, not just sit in the bleachers.

Oh yes. Ohyesohyesohyes.

HA! Don't get your hopes up. I watched "Mists of Avallon" on TNT and it lasted almost five hours. It was teh pA1n3, because i watch it with straight men who had absolutely no sensitivity and kept switching the channel.

Also, they were not nearly as obsessed as i was with arthurian stuff and it WAS kinda crap. (Shut up, evil voice inside my head!)

Hi Cleolinda, I just watched Phantom of the Opera sneaks, and thought you might be interested. (Even though you do not know me, and I do not have a LJ account, because I am mysterious that way.)

It turns out that the mask is hiding a bad sunburn, which would probably explain why the Phantom spends that much time underground.

Hi,

I put a 4christina.org link on my website. I heard about it through livejournal, but my site has nothing to do with livejournal. Do you want me to link to your donation poll? (My site's readership isn't big, but maybe some will donate.)

Thank you!
