Heh. New Amazing Race icon. (Shut up, man, the storm hasn't come in yet. I'm waiting on the spin cycle to finish.)

That's great! Colin is such a psycho, and that captures the moment perfectly.

Colin's not a psycho! He's just ... intense. In that serial-killer sort of way.

And I am so stealing that ox icon. That is truly awesome.

Tee hee...*nabs*
Did you make that?

From: [identity profile] cleolinda.livejournal.com
Yeah--nabbed a picture from www.cbs.com/amazingrace. They have a whole series of Colin Freakout pics.

Hee! I don't think I really saw much the Amazing Race this time 'round, but I keep reading about it on your lj, and looked up the website and read about this series' competitors. Or last or something, I forget now. Whichever one Colin's in because it was talking about him. Anyway, even with my limited exposure to Colin-style tantrums, that icon is still hella funny. Well done!

Also, what font did you use? :D

Basic Times New Roman, actually.

Huh. Interesting. But ... the black outline? (Sorry, am trying to figure this out as I can't get my photoshop to do stuff like that).

Date: 2004-09-15 05:39 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] cleolinda.livejournal.com
On my version of PS--6.0--there's a tiny "f" near the bottom of the right side of the screen. Click that, and it gives you text effect options. The outline is "stroke," I think. Set it to 1 for that really thin outline, and then whatever color you want.

Oh! I have photoshop 7, so won't be too far different. Thanks muchly! (I just found it). I'm very not in the know when it comes to PS, but I keep learning every day (or so). Yay!

Thanks again!

Love the icon! "My ox is broken." Right, Colin.

I was tempted to bitch-slap him when I watched the episode last night. Christie's "standing there, doing nothing" routine did little to win me sympathy from either of them.

To be honest, I felt all giggly and weird when last night's episode took the teams to the Philippines. I went there, oh, two summers (years) ago, and recognized some of the places and things mentioned in the episode. Including the jeepneys and that big duck statue.

*crosses fingers* I hope that you will come out of this storm safely.

Hee, awesome :D I hope Christie dumps him after the race. Or, better yet, during the race, just so we can see his reaction.

Oh, it's all for the taking--I'm not even sure I'm going to use it myself, what with the running out of icon room and all.

Thanks!

A friend of mine loves it, and was wondering if you had a bigger version available. I know you're busy with losing power and all, but if you do, she'd really appreciate it. ;-)

Thanks! Hope all's well.

Woohoo! aAnother person who says "Gank!" I know I heard it somewhere, then started using it, but I was beginning to think the voices in my head made it up because most people look at me funny when I say it.

Hmmmm, I wonder what they'll say...?

Judging from their previous TAR experience, Mirna will be telling Charla to hurry up most of the time, while Charla does all the work.

LOL...the moment I saw what was in store for Colin, I knew he was going to fudge it. What I don't get is that he and Christie were the only team not to use the "I'll lead the water buffalo, you plow," method.

My dad was in hysterics. He used to plow ricefields just like that when he was a laddie. My mother was waiting with bated breath to see if the eating of balut (trans: day-old duck egg) would be part of the goings-on.

Can't wait to see the season finale. El Nido is a gorgeous place.

Hope this finds you well and safe!

Tooken. Because I'm a complete PaintShopVirgin.

That was the best part of the show. Almost (but not quite) made up for the non-elimination. Arrg.
