Just a brief thought before we go watch "Six Feet Under," but--I love that girl on "I Love the 90s" (1997) who says, "And anyone who doesn't like [Hanson] is mmm-JELLUS!" So. Much. Love.

Hahah. The Hanson fandom has been making fun of her for a while now. "MMMJEALOUS!" is my new word of the week.

And I bet if she's watched that now, being that she's probably around 21 or so (I'd imagine), she probably wants to crawl under a rock and die. Much as I did when I snapped out of my NKOTB-induced haze in 1993.

Former Block-heads of the world UNITE!

Talk about a "Where Are They Now?" moment...

Could be worse - she coulda rilly liked Milli Vanilli.

"mmm-JELLUS"?! BWAH! That's my new favourite word! (Sadly, I am a poor Canadian who has yet to see a single episode of I Love The 80s/90s/whatever, so I have never actually seen this girl myself. But she sounds hilarious.)

No, it's an actual preteen girl from archive teenybopper footage--the kid is being completely serious.

Actually, about that show - Six Feet Under - what is it really about? I mean what is the big hoopla about it.

I have heard about it before, but never really had a chance to watch it, and supposedly it is very good.

Really, I've just started watching it this season, so I have no idea. The acting is very good, and it's interesting and quirky and funny and sometimes dark (it's about a family running a funeral home). The writer/producer is the guy who wrote American Beauty, which should tell you a lot. What I'm hearing at Television Without Pity is that this is a weak season compared to the first couple, though, and the episode tonight was just--GAHHHH. Traumatic.

ha!

I went to a 90's themed party the other week, as a Hanson Groupie, and I got a whole lot of flack for it, and the main reason was "Wasn't Hanson more in this decade?"

I was like, hell no! So, yay!

Having been a Hanson fan since 1997, and previously slightly obsessive, I just had to turn to my mother at that point in the show and say "Please tell me I was never like that." Thank God, she assured me I wasn't.

I appreciated Scott Ian's comment that he had respect for Hanson because they play their own instruments and write their own songs--a fact which is always overlooked and never appreciated.

I was really into Primus back then, but I had no Hanson hate at all. Ah, memories.
