I am STILL WORKING on the "Kaiseki" recap, in something of a panic because obviously episode 2 is on tonight, and I'm just to a point where it's like, it gets done when it gets done, even if the new episode laps me, and I just have to keep putting one foot in front of the other because freaking out doesn't do any good. Also I am struggling to keep it short enough to fit inside the maximum LJ post length because I just really don't want "Savoureux"-style two-post recaps to become the new normal, but also-also I'm to a point where I kind of don't care because OH MY GOD PLEASE GET FINISHED SOON. There's just a ton of background material and parallels to previous episodes and references to the books, particularly after I found out that this whole season is intended to be an echo/inversion of Silence of the Lambs. So I'm saying, I'm here and I'm not dead or in a ditch somewhere and I'm working on it and I'm not flaking out on you, it's just TAKING FOREVER TO FINISH what with the Oscar posts taking up two days.

Whether I'm done or not, I'll be on @cleolindajones again tonight for livetweeting.
