On one hand, I agree with Scott Mendelson that if you strip the core love triangle to its bare essentials, Scott Pilgrim and Twilight have a lot in common. But I don't think it was as bad as he says. I really had a blast watching it, I think it's great. Then again, I'm a Torontonian, so watching an entire movie where the characters who are supposed to be Torontonians actually pronounce Toronto correctly every time (while non-Torontonian characters say it the non-Torontonian way for contrast) is a thing that makes me happy.
