I feel like his jaw is okay, but as you go up his face, it widens too much, so that it's bigger at the top than at the bottom. I'm not sure if that's actually how it's sculpted, or if that's just because his hair is way too poofy, and maybe it's just creating the illusion of his head being wider at the top than the bottom. His features seem a bit flat, too. I think his cheekbones should probably be more prominent. The costume is really lovely, though, and you're right, the hair isn't bad from the back and sides, it's just... off, overall.
