Oh dear Lord, not only do I revise constantly as I go, but I do dozens of passes over the things I do get down, in a piecemeal out-of-order way that means I can't really quantify how many "drafts" there actually are. Drafting, redrafting, revising, tweaking, editing, proofreading, over and over again. That, to me, is what writing is. And all X number of drafts says to me is that someone puts a lot of thought, work and effort into their writing. I'd be more concerned if they didn't have multiple drafts.
