Well now that Edward is canonically the redhead (BTW TVtropes had him as redheaded hero long before Bree tanner, just saying) we could totally pretend he descent from vikings and the saga names fits better.
I think everybody uses the word saga in a wrong way: The phoenix saga, for example (And she is a redhead too...I'm seeing a pattern). I even got a friend that nicknamed himself saga! I don't think anyone knows what a saga is anymore.
