What if your stepdad had an accident, was killed and/or killed someone, as a result of this behaviour? It would surely be homicide? I can't believe they haven't thought of the possible consequences. We had a case here in New Zealand where three bored teenagers dropped rocks off a bridge onto the highway. One of them went through a windscreen and killed the driver, and the resulting accident put his three passengers in hospital. And the three teenagers said? "We were just having fun. We didn't mean any harm." So that's all right then.
