... the suit is supposed to be brown with blue stripes... but the blue stripes are so big on this that it just looks weird.

I thought this was the Blue Suit Of Doom? It does have stripes but the overwhleming Blueness does drown them out somewhat on TV.

I can kind of see Tonner's problem, because it would be very hard to source fabric that would pinstripes to the right scale, but otoh with places like Spoonflower around it shouldn't be *that* difficult.
