So all the snow was supposed to come yesterday, and it was nice and swirly but the temperature was above freezing so it didn't stick, and it was kind of lame and nothing really happened.

Then I looked up from my computer this morning sometime after 8 am, and we've got a minor blizzard going.

Snowfari 2010, featuring Scout and Shelby:

Taken from the front porch with my actual camera, as opposed to my phone (you can see the huge flakes in the full-sized pictures):

Scout and Shelby, who have not seen snow in a year, are perplexed. (Sam is inside; I took him out front on his leash for afterwards.)

If you look closely, you can see the wind blowing in their little faces.

Shelby tries to pick a fight. (Eh, bored now.)

I tried to get a picture of how thick and fast the snow was flying at my face, but it didn't really work:

It was really fun standing out there with the wind and the snow and the swirling fluffiness, though. If it gets more interesting--enough to actually scrape together a snowball--I'll go back out.

Fin.

I want snow! Too warm for us to get any this year. Although, I really don't miss the winter horror of the last place I lived, so I guess I'll just count my blessings and take the chilly rain.

Your neighborhood/street looks so awesome and cute, I'd love it there. Nice dogs too! On the off-chance it snows in Florida this year my dog and I will both get to experience it for the first time, lol.

Crazy amount of snow up here in Michigan. *sigh*

Pssst - On Friday, January 8th at 5:00PM EST, a preview selection of the 2010 mainline collection will go live on tonnerdoll.com.

Hi, Cleolinda!

It looks like y'all had fun in the snow. :) Just FYI, I wrote Tonner to ask about the possibility of "True Blood" dolls. They said they'd heard this plea before and they were passing on my message to development. I figured if anybody else wanted an Eric doll (IMAGINE THE BLACK RAZOR BACK! Or GODRIC! Eee!) as a doll, folks should let Tonner know.

Also, I put in a plug for an Alice Cullen doll ASAP!

Oh, those are lovely pictures.

We were supposed to get snow here in South Carolina, but it missed us. I'm from Alabama and all my friends and family back home are talking about all the snow and the kids getting out of school . . . my kids were really disappointed when there was only the same old brown grass on the ground this morning.

It may not have snowed in South Florida this week, cleolinda, but IT WAS COLD. We're used to a balmy 70-80 degrees most of the time here, and since I am at heart a tropical baby (I've never even seen snow), hearing about snow and seeing it in pictures is a bit like hearing about an alien planet. (Snow? What is that .)

Minnesotan here and this morning, I literally had to jump from a snow drift onto the bus to escape the balmy -3 weather. I also must giggle. =0)

Well, I imagine it would be the same for you reading about a Canadian heat wave. This summer I was dying for two weeks at 30 degrees C. My brother, who lives in Australia, reacted with incredulous laughter and sullen, jealous silence.

Dogs are adorable in the snow. My dog is like a snow dolphin when he gets the chance, and when he's not frolicking in the snow like it's surf, he's eating off the snowbanks like they're giant snow cones. I'm sore tempted to get some cherry syrup to make the experience even more fun for him.

I'm so jealous of your snow! It hasn't snowed where I'm from since approximately 1989...

My mother is a school teacher and has been telling me that many of her students (most of whom have never seen snow EVER) keep asking her if she thinks it will snow...it's kind of sad because the local news has been like, "TONIGHT'S HEADLINE: SNOW THIS WEEKEND? No, not really." All the kiddies are disappointed.

Pretty brick houses across the street! Practically nothing is made of brick out here on the west coast. And you have truly adorable puppies.

I lived in the High Sierras for years where we'd get five feet of snow overnight during the big storms. Over the winter, we'd often get 15-20 feet snowbanks and cars crushing beneath the weight. Sometimes, we'd get 30 and 40 foot snowdrifts and houses crushed beneath the weight. At that point, it's time to call in the National Guard for snow removal.

Still, Cleo's pics made me smile and think of home.

Since we have about half a meter of snow outside right this moment, I find the slightly snow dusted photos above rather amusing. :)

As promised.

It's a little annoying not having a fenced in yard. Some of it is fenced, the very end of our yard doesn't close off so we can't just let the dogs outside. It would have been easier taking pictures of the two of them. The fluffy one is Jack, the other is Ginger.

Still not a lot of snow compared to most, but it eats your snow for noms.

The following reminded me of your m15ms. (Although it's less of an affectionate parody and more of a nasty, angry parody.) NSFW for language.

It was CRAP! :( They say the full collection goes live on Jan. 29th, but I was so disappointed with what was previewed on Tonner. WHERE IS ALICE?
