Really, I just had a mandatory typing class in seventh grade, I think, and the rest of it has just come from writing so much. I'm to the point now where I can't look at my fingers--it's too distracting--and I can't write longhand anymore, because it feels too slow. I never did learn how to find numbers without looking, though. You could probably search "typing tutorial" on Google or, failing that, pull out a book and start typing up a few pages, and practice not looking. It just takes time, really. :)
