Amazingly, I don't know if they're that painted on. In Twilight, they were so comically fake it was painful. This...he actually looks like he might have worked out and there was some reasonable highlighting. Not that I've looked at these much.

It's good to know that they hired, you know, real makeup artists this time...the vampires actually look vampire-y.
