This is probably going to sound like a silly question, but how does one get something *off* ones external drive—as in accessing it.
I got an external with my MacBook (YAY for GradPlus loans covering a computer!) and I love that it backs everything up automatically . . . but I have no idea how to access anything.
Also, is it possible to save things (e.g. large files, perhaps media) to an external, delete them off my laptop to save space, and then still be able to access them on my external if said files are no longer on my laptop?
