But I'm still not getting it for this example. How is a dead chimp supposed to represent Congress? That is, what kind of mental connection are we supposed to make in relating the event of the attacking chimp to the creation of the stimulus bill? Seriously, I would love to have you or someone spell it out for me. Right now, it makes no more sense to me than if the caption were, "Now they'll have to get someone else to blow up the Death Star," or "Now they'll have to find someone else to serve coffee at Starbucks." None of them relate, in my head. So whaa?
