Through all the books, I thought Edward was kinda creepy. In Midnight Sun, I was pretty horrified with exactly how creepy he was. Like bringing oil so her window wouldn't creak, watching her sleep, planning his "surveillence"...I'm glad I didn't read Midnight Sun before the other books or else I'd have a whole different take on them. I was especially freaked out when he grabbed her jacket while she walked away because he wasn't done with her yet. Um, that is super scary and predictive of violent behavior. I would hope a tennaged girl would know to run away from a guy like that and not think it is romantic or that "he must really love me".
