Aaaaand our fridge just exploded in a cascade of half-melted ice. I don't know what happened. I opened the freezer door to get the ice cream and a waterfall fell out, that's all I know.

I have to say, I really admire 2008's dedication to sucking, all the way up to the very last second.

Dude, I would've been bursting into tears about 3 appliances ago. And by now, I think it would have to be a reaction of simply, "Of COURSE that just happened...whatever..." Maybe you should hold off on opening kitchen appliances for a while, though. Things could get nasty if a waterfall of ice fell out of your oven or something...

Well said. Couldn't agree more. Sorry yours is sucking, too. But thank you for the lolcat, it brightened my day which unfairly started sucking at the totally inappropriate hour of four effing thirty. i send my condolences fridge-wise, and if it helps any i spent three hours emptying out mine because ice storms left me with no power for five days, sooooooo everything went bad. so i feel your fridge pain

I will be so glad when 2008 is over. Usually, I'm sad to see a year end, but I've never wanted to see a year go more.

I mean, I know some people who had great years. In particular, I know some adorable babies who were born to sweet couples.

However, that just seemed to rub in the suckiness of the year for the majority of us.
