Well, now that I know you won't think I'm crazy, Jackson Rathbone was a factor in the "Must watch future developments" moment as well. I'd never even heard of him before Twilight, but--sometimes people or projects just "ping" with me, if that makes any sense. Pirates of the Caribbean pinged for me when they announced the casting, even though this was back when everyone thought making a movie off a theme park ride was insane. Twilight pinged for me when they cast Robert Pattinson, in terms of me somehow sensing that it was going to be a big deal. Around the time I first saw what he looks like in real life, Jackson Rathbone pinged.
