Ngaio Marsh? Is that you? (I should add that she wrote at least two books about people being murdered on stage. Also, since we're doing Golden Age Mysteries, Michael Inne's book Hamlet, Revenge! is another good stage killing mystery, although that one was a shooting rather than a knifing.)
