YES on the guy's hands. I don't know why, but playing guitar is one of the hottest things there is -- it's so ridiculously cliche, but I love, love, love watching guys play guitar.
Also, Cleo, your list o' traits kind of eerily matches mine, right down to the waitresses and sleeves-rolled-up and shaggy hair. The confidence thing is hard to describe, because there's a very fine line between a guy being sure of himself and being a cocky bastard. I think it's that -- at least for me, don't want to generalize to the whole female species here -- we want someone that we feel is reliable and competent and sure of themselves in a crisis. Someone who doesn't have that aura of personal confidence, the sense that he knows where he's going, seems a little less secure.
