Somewhere in a box in my house is a dusty copy of the paperback book version of the movie. yes. I am not ashamed.
Ditto for me. The highlight of my college graduation trip to Europe was watching this on the plane to London from Manila; having the projector throw a fit, and living in mortal fear that we would land before the movie ended...
Thankfully the movie ended well before the pilot started the descent, which was a very good thing.
